Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Hire Services Manager to join our team. The Hire Services Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our rental services, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the hire services department, including vehicle and excavator rentals, scheduling, and customer relations.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of hire staff to deliver outstanding service and achieve rental targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize rental revenue and profitability.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, rentals, and customer accounts.
- Ensure that all rental equipment is maintained, serviced, and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and maintenance, to optimize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the hire services industry, preferably in vehicle and machinery rentals.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
- Sound knowledge of rental procedures, inventory management, and industry regulations.
- Proficiency in computer software, such as Microsoft Office and rental management systems.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (preferred).
